Description

The pendant, clasp and links collet-set with cabochon star sapphires, circular-cut demantoid garnets and diamonds, areas applied with yellow guilloché enamel, linked by three strands of rope work chain, length approximately 375mm.
Condition
Star sapphires light blue, translucent to opaque, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching, and visible asterism. The largest star sapphire has abrasions and chips to the reverse, one of the small ones has the same slight damage. Demantoid garnets mid green in colour, strong saturation, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, with wear and chips to facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.50 - 1.00 carats. Enamel mid yellow in colour, small areas of very slight chipping to exposed edges, and areas of restoration on clasp and link. Light scratches to stone, enamel and metal surfaces consistent with wear. Chain well-articulated. Secure clasp. Gross weight approximately 103 grams.
