Description

Comprising: a ring millegrain-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire, framed by single-cut diamonds, size K; and a brooch of open work design, similarly set.

Condition

Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 3374, stating that the sapphire has no indications of heat treatment. Ring: Sapphire light blue, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, measuring approximately 8.86 x 12.03 x 3.8mm, calculated to weigh approximately 3.70 carats. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.30 - 0.60 carats. Fitted sizing band. Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 3375, stating that the sapphire in the brooch is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Brooch: Sapphire light blue, transparent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, measuring approximately 9.7 x 8.3 x 4.7mm, calculated to weigh approximately 3.50 carats. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.75 - 1.25 carats. Secure brooch fitting. Metal and sapphire surfaces in both pieces with light scratches associated with wear. In good condition.
