Composed of lozenge-shaped links enamelled with white fleur-de-lys motifs on a black background, alternately set with opal and chrysoprase cabochons, length approximately 191mm, clasp signed C.G.
Condition
Clasp with maker's mark C.G. Chrysoprase green in colour, translucent. Opals opaque, of greyish-white body colour, with visible play of colour. Opals and chrysoprase with light scratches to surface. Slight pitting and scratches to surface of enamel, and one small and shallow chip. Scratches to metal surface consistent with wear. Clasp secure. In good condition.
