Comprising: an evening bag, the exterior of bicoloured woven design, set with a floral diamond clasp, opening to reveal a mirror, measuring approximately 170 x 100 x 45mm; and a compact, applied with a foliate motif set with circular-cut rubies, sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds, opening to reveal a mirror, measuring approximately 79 x 79 x 6mm; both with Italian maker's marks, gross weight approximately 499 grams. 

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Rubies of dark purplish red, sapphires of dark blue, all transparent, typical inclusions visible under magnification, abrasions and light chips consistent with wear, diamonds bright and lively.
