The clasp decorated with a buckle motif set with single-cut diamonds, opening to reveal a mirror, a removable powder compact similarly set and designed, a lighter, a tortoiseshell comb, three compartments for powder, cigarettes and lipstick, measuring approximately 175x120x23mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, maker's marks, fitted case stamped Van Cleef & Arpels, lipstick deficient; gross weight approximately 664 grams.
Condition
Vanity case signed La Minaudière de Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 61657. Each with maker's marks for Van Cleef & Arpels. Stamped STYPTOR and DOUBLE OR. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 4.50- 5.50 carats. Minor discolouration to the hinge. Scratches to the metal consistent with wear and age. Total gross weight approximately 665 grams. Fitted case signed Van Cleef & Arpels 22 place Vendôme Paris. In good condition.
