  • Yellow gold and enamel
The cigarette case engraved with a geometric design, applied with black enamel, 1930s, interior with inscription, measuring approximately 102 x 84 x 11mm, signed Cartier; and a lady's powder compact, of ribbed design opening to reveal a mirror, measuring approximately 74 x 71 x 20mm, signed Cartier, French assay and maker's marks, fitted fabric pouch stamped Cartier; gross weight approximately 335 grams.

Condition

Cigarette case: Signed Cartier Paris London New York. Indistinctly numbered. Inscribed on the inside left hand side with a personal engraving. Secure clasp. Loss of black enamel, to three two corners and to ones of the larger bottom enamel panels, with a large scratch. Scratches to enamel throughout with loss of enamel consistent with wear. Powder compact: French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's marks. Signed Cartier. Mirror in good condition. Secure clasp. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition. Fitted fabric pouch stamped Cartier.
