Each piece inlaid in gold with the cypher of the Duchess of Windsor surmounted by a coronet, comprising: a pair of cologne bottles; a perfume bottle; a talcum-powder box; a pair of powder jars with glass liners; two graduated powder jars with glass liners; a rouge pot; two ivory clothes brushes; a shoehorn, nail file and button hook; a jewel box and a cigarette case and lighter, cigarette case, nail file and button hook signed S.T. Dupont, all with red Chinese characters 都彭, the Chinese name of S.T. Dupont, except the cigarette case and lighter, together with a Copy of The Private Worlds of The Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Hugo Vickers, introduction by Joseph Friedman, published by Mohamed Al Fayed, 1995.

Condition
All marked with the Chinese characters 都彭, the Chinese name of S.T. Dupont, except the lighter and cigarette case, cigarette case, nail file and button hook signed S.T.Dupont. All with later museum inventory numbers W/SM/426, and K, O, D, M,L, N, F,G, E1,E3, H, V,I,C, B, A1, A2, respectively. Lacquer with minor abrasions and small scratches commensurate with age and wear. small areas of wear and chips to lacquer on corners and edges, cigarette lighter working. Overall condition good.
