Each claw-set with oval rubies, the largest weighing 12.45 and 10.02 carats, framed by marquise- and pear-shaped diamonds, signed Faraone, maker's mark, post and clip fittings, case stamped Faraone.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 84970, stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
Accompanied by I.G.N. report no. 20621, stating that the rubies are natural, with no indication of heating.
Each signed Faraone. Maker's marks. Smaller rubies weighing approximately 2.90 and 3.30 carats, medium purplish red, transparent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface reaching inclusions, one of the larger rubies with a few surface reaching fissures and a chip, one of the smaller rubies with a light surface reaching fissure on the table, scratches and abrasions to facet edges consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 18.00-22.00 carats, estimated colour K-M, with some M+ colour, estimated clarity for the majority VS-SI-, some I-included. Secure clips. In good condition. Pouch stamped Faraone.
