Pair of ruby and diamond pendent earrings, Faraone

Each claw-set with oval rubies, the largest weighing 12.45 and 10.02 carats, framed by marquise- and pear-shaped diamonds, signed Faraone, maker's mark, post and clip fittings, case stamped Faraone.

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Smaller rubies weighing approximately 2.90 and 3.30 carats, medium purplish red, transparent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface reaching inclusions, one of the larger rubies with a few surface reaching fissures and a chip, one of the smaller rubies with a light surface reaching fissure on the table, scratches and abrasions to facet edges consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 18.00-22.00 carats, estimated colour K-M, with some M+ colour, estimated clarity for the majority VS-SI-, some I-included. Secure clips.
