Ruby and diamond parure

Comprising: a ring of crossover design, set with heart-shaped rubies framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, size L^1/2; and a similarly set pendant and a pair of pendent earrings, post fittings.

Rubies: Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Accompanied by an invoice from Pitti Diamonds no. AA00105, stating that the ruby set on the pendant is treated with a lead glass substance filled in the fractures to improve its clarity, ruby weight 4.81 carats, total diamond weight 0.25 carats, VS clarity and G colour. Accompanied by an invoice from Pitti Diamonds no. AA00109, stating that the rubies set on the ring are treated with a lead glass substance filled in the fractures to improve its clarity, rubies total weight 5.32 carats, total diamond weight 0.32 carats, VS clarity and G colour. Accompanied by an invoice from Pitti Diamonds no. AA0093, stating that the rubies set on the earrings are treated with a lead glass substance filled in the fractures to improve its clarity, rubies total weight 4.42 carats, total diamond weight 0.55 carats, VS clarity and G colour. Each stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
