Description

Claw-set with a hexagonal-shaped sapphire weighing 17.84 carats, the shoulders accented with triangular-shaped diamonds, French assay and partial maker's marks.

Condition

Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 11951, stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no evidence of heat treatment. French assay mark for platinum. Partial maker's mark. Sapphire of medium blue, transparent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, minor chips and abrasions consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.50-1.00 carats, estimated colour I-K, estimated clarity VVS-VS on average. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. In good condition.
