Claw-set with a pear-shaped ruby, framed by marquise-shaped diamonds, size L1/2.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Accompanied by CISGEM report no. 1650, stating that the ruby shows indications of heat treatment. Ruby of dark reddish colour, transparent, typical inclusions visible under magnification, abrasions consistent with wear. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.00-4.50 carats, mixed colours and clarities. Scratches to metal consistent with wear. Sign that the ring mount has been made larger, solder line. In good condition.
