One necklace designed as three rows of natural pearls measuring from approximately 2.3 to 3.4mm, to a clasp set with a cushion-shaped ruby and rose diamonds, length approximately 470mm; and one necklace designed as four rows of natural pearls measuring from approximately 3.2 to 4.0mm, highlighted with plaques set with foil backed amethysts and rose diamonds, length approximately 410mm.
Condition
Accompanied by The Gem and Pearl Laboratory report no. 12021 and 12020 stating that the pearls were found to be natural, saltwater.
Amethyst necklace: Mounted in gold and silver. Pearls of irregular roundish shape, cream body colour, green overtones, pitting and banding to nacre, medium lustre. Amethysts of light purple, abrasions consistent with wear. Diamonds bright and lively. Secure clasp.
Natural pearl necklace: Pearls of irregular roundish shape. strong cream body colour, grey overtones, pitting to nacre, medium lustre. Ruby of purplish red, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, abraded. Diamonds bright and lively. Secure clasp.
