The necklace designed as four rows of cultured pearls measuring from approximately 8.0 to 9.0mm, to a clasp set with chalcedony and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 340mm, signed Van Cleef Arpels, numbered, case stamped Van Cleef & Arpels; the bracelet designed as six rows of cultured pearls measuring from approximately 8.0 to 8.5mm, to a clasp set with cabochon and circular-cut emeralds and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 160mm, signed Boucheron, French assay mark.
Condition
Necklace: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Signed Van Cleef Arpels, CS. Numbered 14197. Cultured pearls round in shape, cream body colour with rose and green overtones, medium lustre, some peeling to nacre though insignificant. Chrysoprase of medium green, translucent, scratches consistent with wear. Diamonds bright and lively. Secure clasp.
Bracelet: French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Signed Boucheron Paris. Cultured pearls round in shape, cream body colour with rose and green overtones, medium lustre. Emeralds medium green, transparent/translucent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface reaching fissures and abrasions consistent with wear. Diamonds bright and lively. Secure clasp. Case stamped Van Cleef & Arpels.
