  • gilt wood
  • Haut. 157 cm., diam. 50 cm. ; Height 61¾in., diameter 19¾in.
with dolphins, shells and pendants, the central part on a tripod base

Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate despite being a little bit too bright. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. The gilding is original but rubbed and tarnished. There are the inevitable chips and cracks with some losses to the gilding, revealing the white gesso, the red bowl and the wood underneath. Both constructions are firm. Impressive and rare models with carved dolphins.
