Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are the inevitable minor dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are some lifting areas to the lacquer, and the lacquer is peeling off, especillay to the top. There are four horizontal cracks, one of them with one loss. There are numerous shallow vertical cracks. There are some chips to the edges revealing the wood underneath. There are some refreshments to the lacquer as expected. The gilding is slightly rubbed and tarnished. The construction is firm. Nice design and elegant shape.
