Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate but the ormolu elements are less orange and bright in reality. Good overall condition. There are the inevitable minor dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are minute restorations to the veneer. Very pleasant colour and quality of mahogany. The ormolu elements are regilt but 18th century with a nice quality of chasing. The leather top is later with minor surface scratches. Good proportions and elegant design.
