Description

  • 122cm., 50 in. long; 39.4cm., 15 1/2 in. high
the three-part base of elongated shaped rectangular form, the borders and sides embossed and engraved with foliate scrolls, bevelled glass mirrors, wooden bases, each section on four spreading circular feet, the central rectangular basket raised on four profusely foliate chased Roman columns, flowering cornucopia handles, the sides embossed with foliate scrolls around central cartouches, the foliate pierced grill cover with stylised acanthus finial, flanked by two smaller circular baskets on leaf-embellished supports, stamped with 2nd standard 1886-1938 mark
