comprising: a pair of famille-rose 'beautiful maiden' candle holders; a pair of famille-rose figures of reclining nodding head maidens, each reading a book; a pair of gilt-metal mounted blue and celadon-glazed figures of a man and woman standing on an oval base; another similar unmounted pair; a similarly glazed pair of maidens holding a baby; and ten similarly glazed single figures, each standing, some holding vessels
Condition
The candle-holders have restoration to the necks and head and one has been broken through at the lower body and repaired; the reclining figures have restoration to the hands and books, the heads, cuffs of the robe and around the robe neck; the gilt-metal mounted figures are in good condition with the exception of repair to the hands; one of the un-mounted pair have restoration to the side of the mans head and around the woman's neck, the other is in good condition with the exception of minor chips to the head-dress and repaired chip to the thumb; the pair carrying the baby have restoration to the heads and the baby; in addition the white glazed figure of a female raising her arm is restored; and the blue and white figures holding flowers have restoration to the flowers; other minor repairs, restoration and damage.
