Condition
The porcelain glaze has discoloured and slightly faded in areas giving the overall appearance a varied colour. There is evidence of pitting and small chips throughout. The reverse of the lion has nine cracks to the porcelain possibly caused by movement over time to the porcelain, it appears that some of these have been repaired however two are have widened to form openings. One claw to the feet has broken and been repaired. The gilt-bronze bases have evidence of tarnishing.
