A French gilt-bronze mounted Japanese Imari carps the porcelain 18th century, the mounts 19th century

A highly decorative piece in good condition. The different coloured glazes retain strong appearance. There is some pitting and minor cracks to the porcelain consistent with the firing process. There is a small drilled hole to the base of the tail which was possibly done during the pieces manufacture.
