Description

one covered in a crackled turquoise glaze, and the other covered in a green glaze, both mounted with gilt metal stands

Condition

The bases of both have not been inspected under the mounts. Both in general good order apart from minor glaze firing imperfections and small glaze chips to the extremities. The turquoise parrot with the head misfired, resulting in an uneven surface of bubbling. The turquoise is of a slightly bluer tone compared to the catalogue illustration. The green parrot is of a slightly warmer tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
