Description
- brass, ebony, mahogany, marble
- 77.5cm. high, 73.5cm. diameter; 2ft. 6½in., 2ft. 6in.
with a circular grey figured marble top within a pierced gallery above a frieze punctuated with lions masks and three curved legs united by an undertier, later bronze feet
Condition
In overall reasonable condition. The brass stringing to the frieze has signs of minor lifting to one section and has come away from the frieze in another section. This would benefit from professional attention. The gilt-wood moulded border to the lower section of the frieze has one loss below one of the gilt lion head mounts. The undertier is slightly loose due to the legs pulling - this would be easily remedied with the help of a professional restorer.
