Description
- giltwood, fabric
one chair with illegible inscription 'Dsse d'Uzès, boudoir', one stamped L. DELANOIS
Provenance

La Vielle Fontaine, Geneva.
La Vielle Fontaine, Geneva.
Condition
These elegant chairs are in good conserved condition. The gilding has been sympathetically refreshed in places but retains an attractive patina. There are faint hairline construction cracks, as expected. There are marks and scratches consistent with age and use throughout. One chair with minor chips to gilding, namely one to the right arm, one to the top left corner of the front left leg, and with a small repair to the front of the seat. The other with a chip to the top of the front left leg. Both structurally sound. A very smart pair, elegantly re-upholstered, that is ready to be placed.
