with a bleu turquin marble top above a conforming neo-classical frieze with paterae and foliate decoration, on four tapering and stop fluted legs surmounted by Doric capitals and joined by a guilloche stretched centered by musical trophies

Condition

This elegant console table is in very good conserved condition and structurally sound. The marble top with marks and scratches consistent with age and use. There are faint hairline cracks along the construction joints, as expected. One part of the floral carving on the stretcher is slightly loose. The decoration has been refreshed throughout, and this piece is ready to be placed.
