  • 220cm. wide, 102cm. high; 7ft. 3in., 3ft. 3in.
with a moulded backrest carved with piasters and acanthus leaves, raised on short tapering fluted legs; stamped AP DUPAIN 

Condition

This elegant lit is in good conserved condition and has been regilt. There are repairs to the area surrounding the catch the removable back. The joints to the sides have been secured and there are minor losses to gilding throughout that can easily be treated. The silk damasked upholstery is in reasonable condition with no tears. The frame to the seat is a replacement. The back frame with signs of woodworm that appears to be no longer active.
