Condition

Overall, the condition of the bronze is good, with wear and some dirt to the surface consistent with age. A green patina has been applied to give the impression of an antique bronze. There is wear to the patina in areas, including flaking, in particular to the proper left leg to the side and the reverse, to the top of the base, to the proper right thigh at the front, to the proper right pectoral and shoulder, the the back and to the proper right shoulder, elbow and index finger. There is minor rubbing to the patina at the high points. The condition of the socle is good, with some dirt and wear. There is rubbing to the paint of the socle. There are a few chips and scratches, notably around the edges.
