  • A group of three glass and gold cagework scent bottles, English, 18th/19th century

the first, circa 1760, the foot rim with motto ‘l’amour vous l’offre’ on white enamel, chained flame stopper, damaged, 8.5cm., 3 ¼ in high; the second, mid 19th century, with pearl-set cap, engraved and pierced with arabesques; the third, late 19th century in earlier taste, with chained stopper, both 10cm, 4in. high

First broken into fragments at neck; second lacking stopper but otherwise good; last with rough joins to cagework
