top painted with the Christ insignia IHS, dated 1856 and with a partially effaced signature.
Condition
Back with labels "MADE IN GERMANY". Redecorated in areas; most significantly to right side. Decoration with wear and rubbing especially to top. Gilt-metal drawer pulls with some dents and tears. Top drawer lock lacking.
