Condition

Staining on linen ground. Some wear but minor losses and restoration. Good colors of the whole pallete. Catalog image is slightly redder than actual textile. Fine quality and overall condition.

This allegory is based on the Medieval astrological illustration called the Children of the Planets which depict the god or goddess floating on a cloud in the heavens. Below, theĀ  attributes or people engaged in occupations that are ruled by that god are depicted below.
