Condition
Pile ranges from 1/10th in. to low to knot heads in most of rug. Small 1 cm by 1cm area of reweave in field. Some scattered repiling and kashmir repiling mostly to madder red field. Oxidized dark browns. Some with minor tinting. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt. Both ends with rewoven outer guard borders and later kilim finish. Sides with some small reweaves and repairs to the outer guard borders. Rug reselveged with some losses and fraying. Upper end with cloth tape sewn on reverse. Sound fabric and condition.
