Catalogue Note

Nick Garland is a British cartoonist and illustrator and became the Daily Telegraph's first political cartoonist in 1966. Garland is an accomplished painter and woodcut artist, whose work has been exhibited widely. He has illustrated a number of books, most recently The Coma, by his son the novelist Alex Garland.
