Pope") on the half-title of Letters,  half-titles, folding portrait frontispiece to volume 1, additional portrait in volume 1, title pages printed in black and red, full contemporary calf, spines gilt in compartments, marbled edges, collector's chemises and morocco backed slipcase, spines rubbed and joints tender, some occasional browning, inscription slightly trimmed

INSCRIBED TO HORATIO WALPOLE (1678-1757), younger brother of Sir Robert Walpole. An intriguing association copy.
