Heath), coated colour paper dividers in volumes 2 and 3, contemporary red, navy and green morocco, each stamped in gilt with royal arms, spines gilt in compartments, gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, some very light soiling to boards of vol. 1, some very light rubbing to heads and foots of spines

Catalogue Note

The first nine titles in Cannon's series of regimental histories which eventually ran to cover sixty-eight regiments, each prepared under Cannon's direction with the exception of An Historical Record of the Royal Regiment of the Horse Guards, or Oxford Blues (1834) which was written by Captain Edmund Packe.
