working manuscript with extensive revisions throughout, signed at the end, text on rectos, contemporary pagination, occasional later pencil notes in another hand, 54 pages (50 numbered pages plus four facing versos with additions and revisions), 4to (258 x 210mm), blue paper, each leaf individually mounted on a guard, [1895], dark green crushed morocco gilt by Riviere, inside dentelles, gilt lettering on upper cover, spine in six compartments, one leaf (p.23) extensively restored with loss of text
