Catalogue Note

The scagliola table top depicts the arms of the Gourdon and Foucaud d’Alzon noble families, a probable reference to the marriage of Jean-Louis de Lostanges, Marquis de Gourdon (d. 1755) and Marie-Pulcherie-Anastasie de Foucauld d’Alzon. The couple lived at the Château de Beduer, Querci, in Southwestern France.
