Condition

There is evidence of past worming, which has led to losses, particularly to both feet, the proper left arm and hand and to the top of the head. There are further losses to the bottom edge of the drapery. It is possible that the head has been reattached. There is minor stable splitting to the wood consistent with the material, in particular to the back. The figure rocks slightly on its metal stand when moved. There are some remnants of an old layer of polychromy, particularly in the face. Otherwise the condition is stable with some dirt and wear consistent with age.
