Description

  • Walnut
  • 62cm high, 162cm wide, 49cm deep; 2ft. ¼in., 5ft. 4in., 1ft. 7¼in.
with a raised rectangular top, the front and sides with stop fluting and centred with a coat of arms above a scrolled and gadrooned base, on paw front feet and bracket rear feet

Condition

The rectangular top with damages and losses to the wood partly caused by old woodworm which appears to be no longer active, and old restorations, notably to the right hand side border. The lid with internal reinforcements. There are losses and cracks throughout and one crack to the lower right side of the front frieze. The feet are distressed but secure. The back feet are later.
