The wood is covered by a thick varnish with scattered scratches and cracks.
Some discoloured areas on the wood and some scuffs scattered.
A few more significant scratches on the front side, some of them under the varnish, including two more important ones visible on the catalogue illustration.
Several small chips of wood, under and above the varnish.
Traces of two previous restorations, completely discoloured : one on the top (approximately 6 cm long) and one on a side corner (approximately 2,5 cm high).
The gilt metal is slightly tarnished and soiled and some small parts of the gilding are flaking off.
The dimensions of the mirror are : 103 x 202,5 x 3,5 cm ; 40 1/2 x 79 3/4 x 1 3/8 in.
The mirror is in good overall condition. Very minute lacks of silvering on the edges. Traces of oxidation on the frame and a few stains.
