EN : The set is covered with a thick varnish. Scattered scratches, scuffs and dents with a few minor lacks of veneer, especially on the reverse of the back, the edges and the feet, all consistent with age and use. One chair with a circular hole on the upper part of the back reverse : diameter of approximately 0,6 cm. The reverse of the back of one chair presents with deeper scratches. A few thin cracks in the wood, especially at the junctions. The legs of almost all the chairs have been reglued to the seat, with some glue remnants, and the joint between the seat and the back feet has been reinforced with a metal corner brace on 5 of the chairs. The legs of the chairs are slightly moving but the set remains structurally sound. The set has been re-upholstered, the fabric is slightly soiled and with several stains. //// FR : Le bois est recouvert d’une épaisse couche de vernis. Rayures, égratignures, petits chocs et petits éclats épars, plus importants sur les arêtes et les extrémités des pieds. Une chaise présente un petit trou d’environ 0,6 cm sur le revers du dossier en partie supérieure ; Le revers du dossier d’une des chaises présente des rayures plus profondes en partie centrale. Quelques fines craquelures dans le bois, principalement au niveau des jonctions. La majorité des pieds des chaises ont été re-fixés, avec des résidus de colle apparents. Sur cinq des chaises, la jonction entre les pieds postérieurs et le dossier a été renforcé à l’aide de renforts métalliques. Les pieds des chaises bougent légèrement, sans entraver leur stabilité. Les assises ont été re-garnies, sont encrassées et présentent plusieurs tâches.
