Condition

Good condition overall. This armchair has been restored under the supervision of Sotheby's, mostly for one crack on the proper right armrest (vertical element). This restoration is only visible upon close inspection. This armchair has been re-varnished at a later stage. A few scratches, scattered small dents and small chips of wood not visually distractive and consistent with age and use. The leather with minor scratches, scuffs and a few small cracks.

This model was exhibited at both the Internationale Kunstausstellung, Dresden, 1901, and the Prima Esposizione Internazionale d'Arte Decorativa Moderna, Turin, 1902.
