Condition

Good overall condition. A few extremely minute flaws to the enamel, inherent to the manufacturing process and barely visible. Scattered hairline cracks on the red enamel. A rectangular lack of enamel on the bottom of the snake on 1,8 x 0,4 cm, partially visible on the catalogue illustration. A very minute lack of enamel on top of the snake's head (approx. 1 mm). A small lack of enamel on the orange enamel of the tail, on approximately 0,2 x 0,5 cm, partially visible on the catalogue illustration. Very rare and very light wear to the gilding. //// FR : Bon état général. Quelques infimes défauts à l’émail, peu visibles et inhérents au processus de fabrication., Fines craquelures éparses sur l’émail rouge et deux petits manques d’émail rouge : un sur le bas du serpent, d’environ 1,8 x 0,4 cm, partiellement visible sur l’illustration du catalogue et un second, très infime, sur le dessus de la tête du serpent, d’environ 1mm. Un petit manque d’émail sur l’émail orange de la queue, d’environ 0,2 x 0,5 cm, partiellement visible sur l’illustration du catalogue. Rare et légère usure de la dorure.
