Condition

Overall in good condition. The overall wood surfaces with minor surface scratches, light small discolorations and minor dents throughout consistent with age and use. The proper left front leg with a small and stable crack at the upper part, adjacent to the seat and measuring approximately 3 cm in length. The backrest with a few sensitively undertaken restorations in three areas, at the center, and two lower edges of the ombrelles. The structure is sound. The seat has been reupholstered at some point in the history of the chair and the upholstery presents with minor surface dirt consistent with age and use. A great example of the model, coming from Emile Gallé's family.
