Condition

Overall in good condition. The overall wood surfaces with minor surface scratches, light small discolorations and small dents throughout consistent with age and use. The backrest with two minor areas of sensitively undertaken restoration, on each side of the lower part of the flower at the montants. The structure is sound. The seat has been reupholstered at some point in the history of the chair and the upholstery presents with minor surface dirt consistent with age and use. A great example of the model, coming from Emile Gallé's family.
