Condition

STRUCTURE This picture requires consolidation and restoration. The paint surface is unstable with craquelure throughout which is lifting and has resulted in paint losses close to the lower edge of the canvas. The canvas has become a little slack and would benefit from being rest reached. FRAME This picture is contained in a moulded gilt frame with losses to the mouldings.
