- 71cm. high, 70cm. diameter; 2ft. 4in., 2ft. 3½in.
boxwood strung, with a tooled leather inset top above two frieze drawers and two wedge shaped hinged drawers between borders of satinwood
Provenance
Probably William Spencer Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire (1790-1858)
Condition
The top with tears and old marks and scratches. One of the brass handles later replaced. Losses to kingwood border and other veneers. Re-polished. Legs possibly reworked.
