Description
- jadeite
carved to one face with a bird perched on a gnarled branch bearing the sanduo (Three Abundances: peach, pomegranate and finger citron), the reverse with a bat in flight amongst fruiting peach branches, the stone of an attractive emerald and apple-green tone

Probably acquired by or a gift to Algernon Bertram Freeman-Mitford, 1st Baron Redesdale (1837-1916)
Condition
In good general condition with the exception of minute nibbling along the extremities. The stone is of an attractive emerald and apple green tone.
