STRUCTURE
This picture is unlined and painted on a coarse weave canvas the texture of which can be seen - undoubtedly the artist's intention. There are areas of rich impasto. There are no signs of claque lure. The paint surface is a little dirty and the painting would benefit from a light clean.
UNDER UV LIGHT
There are no signs of retouching.
FRAME
This picture is contained in a moulded plaster frame and under glass.
