Condition
These working pieces of estate made furniture show signs of age and use. There is an age crack to the top of each at the back, as result of shrinkage. There are the typical sorts of marks from being in a bedroom include water marks an ring marks and a rectangular black scorch mark to the top. One with a replaced gallery. Two of the tops appear to be replace. One with a broken tambour and one with a small loss to a reeded tambour element. Typical old marks and scratches and some warping timbers. Their very simplicity makes them very attractive and the Chatsworth labels wonderfully link them to the great house.
