The Duchess writes (op. cit. p. 186) 'I bought the champagne glasses that live on the drinks table in the Tapestry Gallery from the Buckingham Place shop because of the gold snake that entwines the stem'.
Condition
One glass with a chip to the footrim, approx. 1.2cm. by 0.5cm. at deepest point. Another glass with minor chip to the footrim.Otherwise in good condition with minor wear and scratches to the gilding.
