Description
- Porcelain
painted with individual classical figures in panels on a blue ground with gilt line borders, comprising: a coffee pot and cover; a sucrier and cover; a milk jug and tray, sceptre marks in underglaze-blue, impressed marks; and a similar coffee can and saucer painted en-grisaille with a bust portrait, the saucer initialled H; together with a Richard Ginori porcelain part-tea and coffee service, modern, printed with brown landscape panels (39)
Condition
Cabaret set-
coffee pot and cover- haircrack to the spout, approx. 2cm.length.Cover has riveted repairs and chips.
sucrier and cover- cover with rim chip and some wear to the gilding.
milk jug- glued repairs and chips to th erim.
tray- some wear to the gilding.
coffee can and saucer- haircrack to rim of can, approx.4cm.length. Chip and nick to footrim. Saucer with glued repairs.
Ginori service- one small teapot lacking cover. Sugar bowl lacking cover. Minor restoration and haircrack to rim of onne saucer.
